Justin Ludlow is the General Manager of Basketball Otago and began in this position on February 1 2016 after spending the preceding ten years with the Oamaru Licensing Trust which culminated in his appointment as joint GM in September 2013.
This background provided Justin with experience in working within a community minded organization, as well as having hands on roles with HR, strategic & financial planning and working closely with community funders.
Justin has played the game competitively at a club and representative level, as well as continuing to spend time on the court as a referee, and as Head Coach of Bayfield High Schools junior girls programme.
In 2017 Justin was awarded with the Women’s Basketball Championship (WBC) Administrator of the Year award.
Justin lives in Dunedin with his wife Joelene and four daughters Lydia, Caitlin, Emma & Stella.
My name is Greg Brockbank, I am the Operations Manager at Basketball Otago.
I studied at Bayfield High School and Otago University, graduating with a Bachelor of Physical Education and have been working at Basketball Otago ever since.
I enjoy the varied nature of the role I am in, and actively participate in competitions as much as possible, refereeing and coaching at numerous levels.
The highlights of my career to date, include being involved with our NBL team in 2014, the travel overseas and around the country and the people I have been able to meet in the sport.
My name is Natalie Visger and I am the Development Officer for BBO. My family and I moved from the state of Utah to Dunedin in May of 2015. Previously upon relocating I was the Head Women’s Basketball Coach for Snow College in Ephraim, UT from 2011-2015. Snow is a member of the National Junior College Athletics Association (NJCAA). Before that I was the Head Assistant Coach at NCAA Division II member Montana State University Billings (MSUB) for 5 years from 2006-2011.
My playing experience included 3 years professional basketball in Germany from 2003-2006 in the DBBL 2nd League; and as a student I played 4 years at Montana State University Billings (1999-2003), and graduated with a Bachelorette degree of Science in Biology. While coaching at MSUB I earned a Master’s degree of Science in Sport, Recreation, Management and Fitness.
In NZ I have coached the Otago U15 and U23 Women’s teams, the Otago Girls’ High School Senior As and most recently the NZ Under 16 National team in 2016-17. I started with BBO in February of 2016.
